Primark was one of the stores to reopen last week and customers weren’t disappointed.
From pretty dresses to sleek denim, the store has sorted your look out of lockdown.
However, one outfit unexpectedly caused a sensation among buyers, bringing back fond memories of childhood.
The only problem was that it was not available in large enough sizes.
We’re of course talking about the brand’s Elmer the Elephant collection – the much-loved character was a staple on UK shelves.
Speaking to Instagram, Primark said, ““ It must be Elmer! ”@ Primark.kids.
“Set £ 10 / € 14 / $ 16”.
Fans were quick to comment on the post, delighted that everyone’s favorite multi-colored elephant has made its way into the clothes.
“Omggg so cuteeee,” one said, adding extra “e’s” to their comment for emphasis.
Another added: “Awww loved it when I was a kid hehe”.
However, discussions quickly turned serious, with buyers wanting the range, which included a babygrow, scarf, snap bodysuit and hat, for themselves.
One fan wrote: “Please do this in adult sizes !!”
“Jesus! I need this ! Another said.
“It’s not even a desire, it’s a need!”

Another commented along the same lines and added: “I need this in my life !!!” before inserting several emojis crying with laughter.
One of them added: “I also like Elmer, old school! See you tomorrow Primark”.
A super Elmer fan has told other reviewers that the famous beast can also be purchased at other stores (sorry Primark).
“They have some super cute stuff from Elmer to Matalan.”
