When I became a mom, I had a clear vision of how I wanted to feed my children. I have always viewed nutrition as an important part of overall wellness, not just physical health. So, especially for their growing minds and bodies, I wanted to offer the best ingredients.
But, to be honest, it was much easier when I only had a baby. And, even more honestly, even back then, it was a daunting task to source and prepare baby food once we introduced solid foods.

Fast forward to when I had my third baby in less than four years: while I didn’t want to compromise the nutritional standards of what I was providing my youngest, I just needed a solution more efficient. That’s when I discovered Once Upon a Farm, which offers a variety of organic, cold-pressed snacks and meals filled with intentionally selected fruits, vegetables, and other ingredients.
With a busy schedule, Once Upon a Farm gave me more time to spend with my family, rather than steaming and pureeing baby food. At the same time, using the Farm to Fridge packets allowed me to introduce even more powerful first foods, such as flax seeds, kale, turmeric, ginger and more.
Co-founded by amazing moms Cassandra Curtis and Jennifer Garner, the company is dedicated to bringing delicious, nutritious food to kids of all ages. As for the approval really matter, my son loved the mixed fruits and vegetables. With unique flavors loaded with vitamins and minerals, he also had the chance to expand his palate while fueling his body with the finest nourishment.

Because I could rely on the clean ingredients used by Once Upon a Farm, I even looked for other ways to use the fruit and vegetable blends, like mixing some into plain yogurt for flavor or swapping it out for of oil during baking to increase the nutritional value of muffins or brownies.
Dairy-free smoothies are also a favorite of my three dairy-sensitive kids. I often pack a packet of smoothie in my eldest son’s lunch box, so he gets a refreshing “treat” during the day when I know he’s also eating fruits and veggies with no added sugar.
With life getting busier and busier, the convenience of cooking and buying Once Upon a Farm is a real help to me. Thanks to the customizable subscriptions delivered directly to my home, I have been able to adapt my order over time to the tastes and needs of my children. It’s not just my family benefiting either: Once Upon a Farm has partnered with Save the Children to pledge one million nutritious meals to children in food-insecure communities across the United States.
During my two years with Once Upon a Farm, I’ve also been continually impressed with the new products they offer, such as their immunity mixes and new plant-rich frozen entrees. Even though my family now eats together, I like to offer whole meals as a side dish to my children.
