A bargain-hunting mum managed to buy almost £ 64 worth of baby products for £ 1.70 from B&M after spotting items on sale for just 10p.

The impressive spending of Charley Jones, 26, who lives in Wednesbury in the West Midlands, includes almost 50 pairs of baby socks and 30 bibs.

The sock packs were said to have originally cost £ 3.99, while some bibs are said to have cost £ 3.99 as well.

She also bought pajamas for her five-month-old son Jai-Jai for just 10 pence, down from £ 5.99.

Ms Jones, who is currently on maternity leave, told the Mirror her transport would be extremely helpful as she spends a lot of bibs with her son Jai-Jai as he suffers from allergies.

In total, purchasing all of the full-price products would have cost £ 63.83.

Each item has been reduced to just 10p in B&M – but these bargains won’t be in every store

Ms Jones said: “It was a good deal because the amount of bibs I’m wearing will save me a lot of washing! I never do a great deal so it was a good shock.

“I’ve never been to B&M either and spent only £ 1.70 – normally that amount would be wasted on things I don’t need.

“Once I have had my use or the ones I do not use, I will donate to Birmingham Children’s Hospital as I do with all of my son’s clothes.”

B&M buyers regularly use its free scan tool to look for 10% bargains.

With the scanner, which can be found on the B&M app, customers can see when items have been reduced before being labeled on shelves by scanning their barcodes.

But Ms Jones said she found those baby items already reduced to 10p.

She added, “They were where all the baby clothes and normal clothes were, next to the shoes.”

Sadly, these 10 pence baby bargains aren’t available at all B&M stores – the retailer has confirmed this depends on stock levels.

Ms Jones first shared her findings on the Good B&M deals and moreFacebook group, in a post that has since racked up over 700 likes.

Other bargain hunters were quick to congratulate her, with one saying, “I’ve never seen anything like it! Well done.

Another said: “Brilliant find. Well done.”

A third added: “I also have socks and bibs today for 10p!”
