Choking Hazard Baby Products Recalled, Thousands Sold At Target, Walmart


Three baby products found at popular Target and Walmart retailers have been recalled due to choking hazards.

The products are Firefly Frank Infant Teethers from Battat and sold exclusively at Target, Clip Clop Infant Activity Rattles from Playgro and sold at Walmart, and Cat and Jack Baby Rompers from Target.

B. Light-Up Toys Firefly Teether Glowy Chews – Firefly Frank, plastic infant teething toys, sold only at Target, have been recalled because the wings and wing pieces may come loose, posing a choking hazard for the child.

Battat recalls a teething ring after several reports of broken or detached wings from the toy. Prior to the recall, 61,000 units were sold at Target stores. Parents should immediately remove the product from their children’s belongings and return it to Target for a refund.

Target romper reminder

Target recalled the Cat & Jack Baby Heart Ears rompers because the heart-shaped graphics on the knees can peel off and present a choking hazard to the child.

The target has recalled her Cat & Jack Baby Heart Ears rompers because the heart-shaped graphics on the knees of the romper may peel off. About 44,350 units were sold. Return the item to any Target store for a full refund.

Rattle reminder

Playgro Clip Clop Baby Activity Rattles were sold in Walmart stores and on from November 2020 through January 2021 and have been recalled.

About 18,000 units of Playgro rattles have been sold in Walmart stores and online before the reminder. The abacus ring of the rattle on the back of the horse is used to detach and release the small balls. Parents should remove the toy from their children and contact Playgro for a free replacement.
